Embroidering Caps!!

I have found a great epattern that I wanted to share with you. It is called the M achine Embroidery Mini Raggy Oval Appliqué  epattern. In this epattern you will learn a few tricks on how to make your own monogrammed hat. I thought I could figure it all out on my own but I was very happy to learn her tricks of the trade.  The pattern also comes with the oval appliqué in sizes 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3" and 3.5". I did not use the oval instead I used the  Circular Monogram I had bought here at River Mill Embroidery . Of course I can never stop at one, so I have made 4 so far. These two above are for BFFs. If you would like one made by me just email me at leah.sewpoiled@gmail.com, they are only $20 each, plus shipping and handling. These also make great summer hats for the kids! Have a great Day!

Doll Clothes

We made some 18" doll clothes. So much fun and faster than kid or adult clothes. My daughters like the Our Generation Dolls from Target and we found knit fabric scraps and sewed pieces together. Drawing and designing clothes on paper can be a challenge but it is so magical to see their ideas come to life. I hope that they continue to enjoy sewing.  Happy Sewing!

Sew Spoiled iPad Mount Pattern

I have been working on this pattern for a few weeks and it is almost ready for the shop. It is called the iPad Mount Sewing Pattern. Basically, I will show you in 10 easy steps how you can make your own iPad Mount. This mount could be used for the headrest in the car, exercise equipment, etc.. It is perfect for the long rides in the car, especially for those family vacation trips. Or place it on your stationary exercise bike and watch your favorite show as you work out. Since I have been making these, I have had so many friends and family members ask if I could make them one too. They are easy to add monogrammed embroidery and personalize too. Can't wait to share more with you! Happy Sewing!
